How do I record a long meeting?+
notegpt records continuously, even when your screen is locked. Start a recording from the home screen and lock your phone — the recording keeps going. Tap the recording in your phone's Recordings tab to play it back later.
Can I record offline?+
You can record audio offline. The recording is saved to your phone. Note generation (transcription and summaries) requires an internet connection — once you're back online, the queued recording processes automatically.
What languages are supported?+
Notes can be generated in 12 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Italian, and Korean. Set your default language in Settings or pick per-note in the New Note sheet.
How do I export my notes?+
Open any note, tap the three dots in the bottom-right, then tap Export to PDF. The note saves as a PDF you can share or save to Files.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Open Settings, find your subscription card, and tap Manage. notegpt subscriptions are managed by Apple, so you'll be taken to your iPhone's Subscriptions screen where you can cancel or change your plan.
Are my recordings private?+
Audio recordings stay on your phone. We send the audio to our processing servers only to transcribe and generate notes — we don't store the audio after processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens if a recording fails to process?+
The audio file stays on your phone. You can retry processing from the Recordings tab or share the audio file directly. Your recording is never lost just because the processing failed.
How do I delete my account?+
Account deletion isn't available yet — notegpt currently works without an account, with all your data on your phone. To remove all your data, uninstall the app. Account deletion will be available when web sync ships in a future update.
